Waste Management and City of Key West officials have been meeting with graduates of the first Key West City Ambassador Academy graduates to discuss improving solid waste services along Duval Street. The group, standing from left, Greg Sullivan, Waste Management; Paul Clayton, City of Key West; Mike Ford, Waste Management; Key West City Commissioner Merili McCoy, Public Works Director Roland Flowers, Ambassadors Karla du Chene, C.J. Groth, David Oatway, Vicki Gordon and seated from left, Ambassador Julie Fondriest, Key West City Manager Julio Avael and Ambassadors Brian Carmen and Pam Kapp will begin helping with an educational program that will explain the clean Duval Street project to local vendors. The ambassadors will continue with their commitment to the project as it develops within the next few weeks.
