Hello and Welcome to the City of Key West,

It is a beautiful day in the Southernmost City of the Continental United States, and I appreciate the opportunity to serve you as the Mayor of this great City.  Whether you are one of our city's 24,500 residents, a business interest, or a visitor enjoying Key West's many amenities, I am confident you will find a wealth of information here at www.keywestcity.com.

Key West has much to offer - great weather, a beautiful coral reef, historic buildings and national landmarks, wonderful architecture, a multitude of boating and fishing activities, superlative arts, theatre and museums, our own symphony, and limitless choices for fine dining and nighttime entertainment.  Add to that our diverse and friendly population and you'll see why people seek us out as a place to visit often, as well as one to call home.

In Key West, customer service and quality of life are not mere catch phrases - they represent our mission to all residents and visitors.  Key West's official motto, "One Human Family", reflects our commitment to living together as caring, sharing neighbors dedicated to making our home as close to "paradise" as we can. I am committed to a safer and more sustainable community, seamless in every way, which will be accomplished through our continued focus on public safety, budgetary constraints and coordinated delivery of service.

Our city government and business community work in partnership to maintain our unique sense of community and to provide a quality of life that many cities envy.  We also pride ourselves on our efforts to protect our precious environment.

On the City's Website you will be able to access all online city services - online bill payment, permitting and file a complaint.

Finally, if you are still looking for more information, the website includes other ways to access city government, including Comcast Channel 77, agendas, city meeting schedules, and links to other government and community resources.
Thank you for visiting www.keywestcity.com and for your interest in Key West.

Sincerely,
Craig Cates, Mayor
