  • Bus Routes Return to North Roosevelt Blvd

    Now that the two-year North Roosevelt Blvd. reconstruction project is complete, Key West’s bus system is returning to its pre-construction routes. Beginning Monday, November 17th, buses will again travel along North Roosevelt Blvd.
  • Bus Safety Award

    For a sixth year in a row, the state is recognizing Key West’s bus drivers as the safest in the state. This week, Key West Transit was awarded the First Place Bus Safety Award by the Florida Public Transportation Association.

 


The City of Key West Department of Transportation provides public transit services throughout Key West, Stock Island, and up to Marathon, FL.We have 6 routes, the earliest of which begin operation at 5:30 am and run as late as 12:00 midnight.Our fleet consists of 14 handicap accessible buses which accommodate 24 or 32 passengers.

 

Our drivers' primary concern is the safety of both the passengers and others who share our island roadways.They are also committed to delivering a timely product and customer service.
