      10.    RESOLUTIONS:

01-54      x(a) Approving and authorizing the City Manager to execute an agreement between the City of Key West, Florida, and the Conch Republic Independence Celebration, Clear Channel Communications of the Keys, AIDS Help, Inc., the Key West Cultural Preservation Society, Rick’s Durty Harry’s Entertainment Complex and Bourbon Street Pub for the 2001 Conch Republic Celebration; granting an exemption from the Noise Control Ordinance pursuant to Section 55.06 of the Code of Ordinances during the celebration; authorizing the sale and consumption of alcoholic  beverages within the enclosed area; (City Manager)

01-47      *(b)   Authorizing MO’s Restaurant to conduct a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society on March 17, 2001 from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.. pursuant to terms and conditions set forth by the City Manager, authorizing the closure of White Street between Catherine and Virginia Streets; granting a special event permit pursuant to Section 55.06 of the Code of Ordinances. 01-48      *(c)   Supporting local efforts to seek Florida Scenic Highway Designation for the Florida Keys Overseas Highway.  (Commissioner McCoy)

01-55   x(d)      Approving in concept, a Draft Memorandum of Agreement between the Florida Department of Community Affairs (DCA) and the City regarding affordable housing units.  (Mayor Weekley)

01-49      *(e)   Approving the attached contract for School Proximity Tobacco Enforcement between the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulations and the City.  (City Manager)

01-50     *(f)    Approving the Law Enforcement Mutual Aid Agreement with the City of South Miami, Florida.  (City Manager)

01-51      *(g)   Authorizing a Grant Application to the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) for a Resource Damage Restoration Grant in the amount of up to $200,000.00 for clean up of the Bay Bottom at Houseboat Row and in Cow Key Channel.  (City Manager)

01-52      *(h)   Authorizing a waiver of Building Permit Fees not to exceed $2,000.00 for the Southernmost Church of God in Christ at 729 Fleming Street.  (Commissioner Turner)           

01-53      *(i)    Authorizing execution and approving the form of an Interlocal Agreement with the Caroline Street Corridor and Bahama Village Community Redevelopment Agency; providing certain other matters in connection therewith.  (City Manager)

      11.    ORDINANCE – FIRST READING (Public Hearing)

              (a)   An Ordinance of the City of Key West, Florida, amending Chapter 35 entitled “Zoning

                     Provisions” by amending Section 35.46 to renumber it as Section 107.38; and by amending

                     Section 35.46 to eliminate the placement of sidewalk display tables on the Right-of-Way. (City Attorney)
