The City of Key West only accepts applications for open positions. General applications or resumes are not accepted or kept on file. Vacancies are posted weekly on the website, on the job board outside of the Human Resources office and in various locations throughout the City.

To apply for a position with the City of Key West you must complete a City application and submit to the Human Resources office with a signed job description. Applications and job descriptions can be downloaded from the website in Adobe Acrobat format or picked up at the Human Resources Office.

Completed applications and signed job descriptions must be submitted to the Human Resources office where they will be processed and forwarded to the appropriate department. Applications/job descriptions may be faxed, mailed or hand delivered to the address below:
