Our mission is to provide quality facilities with safety in mind for our youth to maximize their skills and be a positive learning experience for the rest of their lives. We are a proud Recreation Department and take pride in the condition and appearance of all our facilities.


FAQ's

1. When do leagues begin and when are their registrations held?
Baseball: Registrations begin in December and run through January with the season starting in February and running through July.
Girls Softball: Registration begin in November and run through December with the season starting in February and running through June.
Youth Football: Registrations being in June and run through July with the season starting in August and running through December.
Youth Soccer: Registrations being the first three weeks of February for the Spring season, and the first three weeks of May for the Fall season.
Youth Basketball: Registration beings in November and running through December with the season starting in January and running through June.
Youth Hockey: Registration being held in March with season running from May though August.
2. Availability of parks with times and dates for special events?

This item varies due to request. If the request is a special event needing permitting the requestor must contact the City Manager's office in order to receive permits with insurance. The Indigenous Park and Bayview park are scheduled through this office at 305 292-8296.
3. Do we have City Campgrounds? What are the phone numbers to local campgrounds?

We do not have any City owned campground facilities.  Interested parties should contact the Chamber of Commerce at (305) 294-2587.
4. What summer programs do we offer the youth of the Community?

In conjunction with the Monroe County School Board and the City of Key West we offer summer programs, within the school system, to include the Boys and Girls Youth Club.  Please call the Monroe County School Board at (305) 293-1400 or the City of Key West Recreation Department at (305) 292-8296 for more information.
