Terrorist Awareness Course

The Key West Fire Department in conjunction with the Department of Justice recently provided an Awareness Course in Incident Response to Terrorist Bombings to City Associates. These individuals and other members of their various departments may be called upon to respond to, and or assist, with operations by Police and Fire personnel in the event of an incident. The course also provides information on recognition of suspicious items, security suggestions and prevention of acts of terrorism. Each will receive a Certificate from the Department of Justice for their successful completion of the course. All members of the Fire Department receive the training and the Police Department is also scheduled to attend.
