01-97   *(e)            Authorizing Key West Cultural Preservation Society to conduct a Summer Solstice Celebration at Mallory Square Dock on June 23, 2001 from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Pursuant to terms and conditions set forth by the City Manager; Granting a Special Event Permit Pursuant to Section 55.06 of the Code of Ordinances from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.; Authorizing sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages within an enclosed area. 01-98   *(f)             Authorizing application for a Bureau of Justice Grant in the amount of $4, 042.50 for the purchase of bulletproof vests.  (City Manager)

01-99   *(g)            Approving a two year extension to South Florida Environmental Services for annual stack testing at the Southernmost Waste to Energy facility at the annual contract price. (City Manager)

01-101   (h)            Establishing procedures for allocation twenty-four (24) Affordable Housing Units derived for the property located at 1700 Atlantic Boulevard.  (Mayor Weekley)

01-100       *(i)       Authorizing the City’s Community Development Office to submit a grant application to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for funding of housing opportunities for persons with AIDS (HOPWA) program with the City of Key West as “Applicant” and Aids Hepl, Inc. as “Sponsor”. Second  (a) An Ordinance of the City of Key West, Florida, amending Chapter 91 of the Code of Reading     Ordinances entitled “Licenses” by amending Section 91.25 to adjust Occupational License 5-01-01                 Taxes; providing for severability; providing for repeal of inconsistent provisions; providing for an effective date.  (City Manager)
