00-217 *(a) Authorizing the Bahama Village Business Association to conduct an “Art & Jazz Festival” every third weekend of the month starting on July 21st and 22nd, 2000, from 6:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M. on Fridays and from 12:00 Noon to 10:00 P.M. on Saturdays; Pursuant to terms and conditions set forth by the City Manager; Authorizing the closure of the 200, 300, & 400 blocks of Petronia Street between Duval and Emma Streets from 12:00 Noon to 10:00 P.M.; Granting a Special Event Permit pursuant to Section 55.04 of the Code of Ordinances from 6:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M.; Authorizing the sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages within the barricaded area. 00-218 *(b) Approving and authorizing the execution of the attached agreement between the City of Key West, Florida and the Association for Tourism Development for Fantasy Fest 2000; Authorizing the sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages on City property/rights-of-way at five locations within the Fantasy Zones by not-for-profit organizations to be selected by the Association for Tourism Development; Authorizing the City Manager to issue a Letter of No Objection to the Department of Business and Regulation, Alcohol and Tobacco Division for the sale of alcoholic beverages by four not-for-profit organizations on private property; Granting an exemption from the Noise Control Ordinance pursuant to Section 55.04 of the Code of Ordinances during the Festival. 00-226 *(k) Rescinding Resolution No. 00-124 and awarding repair of the Boiler Feed Pump to the next responsive bidder, Sulzer Pumps USA in the amount of $32,361.00. (City Manager)
00-227 *(l) Authorizing a variance to the City’s Sound Control Ordinance to allow extended work (commencing at 7:00 A.M. and concluding at Sunset) for the District F & G Sewer Rehabilitation Project. (City Manager)
