A revoked driverís license led to the downfall of an alleged cocaine dealer in Key West early this morning.
When Jessie Mitchell zipped by Key West Police Officer Pablo Rodriguez at about 2:20 a.m., Rodriguez already knew Mitchellís driverís license had been revoked. Rodriguez stopped him, arrested him and then searched him. Rodriguez reportedly found three small plastic bags of cocaine in Mitchellís right pants pocket and two more in the left pocket, plus $275 in cash in a back pocket. The drugs would be worth about $300 on the street.
Rodriguez charged the 22-year-old Stock Island man with possession of cocaine with intent to sell and driving with a suspended license.
